Case Study: Dexus AECOM in Perth CBD
Case Study: Dexus AECOM in Perth CBD

The Dexus Alluvion building is conveniently located in the heart of Perth’s CBD. The building offers breathtaking views of the Swan River, which made it the ideal choice for Aecom’s new office. Aecom, a world leading infrastructure consulting firm, wanted an office that was functional, flexible and collaborative.  Top interior designers IA Design were engaged by Dexus to design  a workspace that maximised the surrounding views, whilst creating a flexible environment with furnishings that were highly adaptive for mixed use spaces. Zenith supplied a range of furnishing for the project that provided style, comfort and versatility.

Working in a subtle neutral palette, the open plan reception area features the Edo Curve lounge by Schamburg +Alvisse for Zenith. Providing privacy and sound absorption, the Edo is ideal for private meetings, small huddles, or to simply sit and enjoy the views of the city surrounds. Inspired by the streetscapes of Tokyo, the Edo Curve offers a traditional sophistication that complimented the overall design aesthetic.

The perfect convergence of elegance, functionality, and sustainability, the JAC range effortlessly fulfills the seating needs for a multitude of workspaces. Thoughtfully designed and robustly manufactured, Aecom chose a selection of JAC stools and side chairs for their visual appeal and versatility within mixed-use spaces.

As part of Zenith’s sustainability commitment, with every JAC sold a tree is planted, making it an environmentally responsible choice. Currently, Zenith’s One Tree project is focused on Ecological Restoration near Gordon River in South-West WA. The project not only provides environmental replenishment, but this Aboriginal owned project site will provide empowerment to the local community through on-going employment.

Characterised by a sculpture-like design, the Jey occasional table features a cylindrical base made from marble or concrete. The side table is stable and movable, with a tubular column which coordinated with the clean, neutral design and colour palette of the project.

To support flexibility and space optimisation, Aecom opted for the Zenith Connect Puck. The 'Puck' is a work point integrated desk reservation system that provides effortless check-in and check-out, occupancy sensing and wireless/wired device charging. Employees are able to pre-book a desk, choosing a setting suitable to their tasks.

With breathtaking views of the city of Perth, the client’s new office is a calming contemporary haven high above the city. Zenith provided a sophisticated and functional furniture solution that fulfilled the client brief and complimented the impressive outlook.
