Yellow Diva designs and manufactures engaging original furniture and products.
The design studio was born in London, the collaboration between David Walley, an Australian industrial designer and James Davis, a British architect. Yellow Diva - an almost anagram of their surnames - was established in 1994 and within a year they launched their first series of organic, sculptural furniture at the inaugural 100% Design, Chelsea. The studio relocated to Melbourne in 2008 presenting an expanded portfolio of furniture and products. A Limited Edition range allows for experimentation alongside more commercially focused projects.
Yellow Diva corporate clients include Microsoft, Virgin, Top Shop, Guess, Sheraton Hotels, Centerparcs, FCO, Optus, Google, Panasonic, National Gallery of Victoria, Hickory Developments, David Jones, ABC Television, Gallery of Modern Art, Schneider Electric, NBN, National Australia Bank, RMIT and numerous other universities.
