Impact Acoustic

BRAILLE hanging divider

The harmonious distribution of the triangular perforations of this acoustic room divider is based on the Delaunay triangulation. Points are cross-linked to triangles so that no other points are contained within the circle on which the three triangle points lie (circumference of the triangle). This principle can be found everywhere in nature and has a calming effect on humans because it is subject to a clear rule.

Impact Acoustic live their sustainability message by creating their products from upcycled single use plastic bottles. Driven by the belief that humans can only be successful if we all care about the environment, Impact Acoustic have decided to work towards a global ban on PET bottles, in the hope that their products will eventually become obsolete for future generations.

Impact Acoustics ARCHISONIC®, a high-performance acoustic absorber relies on the upcycling of single-used plastic bottles. 88 post-consumer PET bottles are used for every square meter of finished material.

Impact Acoustic

Solutions for today & tomorrow.

After decades of working in the architecture and design industry in Asia and Europe, Sven Erni and Jeffrey Ibañez decided to create a company that could really make a difference, where design and sustainable development goals go hand in hand. And so the idea for Impact Acoustic was born.

Impact Acoustic strongly believe that we humans can only be successful if we also care for the environment. That's why they develop not only beautiful and functional, but also environmentally friendly acoustic solutions in the heart of Switzerland. Always with an eye on global trends and a focus on the requirements of the ever-changing architecture and design industry.

ARCHISONIC® is Impact Acoustic high-performance acoustic absorber, dedicated to solving acoustic problems. Instead of extracting new material, the product relies on the upcycling of single-used plastic bottles. 88 post-consumer PET bottles are used for every square meter of finished material.
