STAY stool designed by Skeehan Studio

The STAY stool’s minimal form is inspired from the folding structure of origami.

Directed by Industrial Designer Tom Skeehan, SKEEHAN studio specialises in commercial furniture and edition objects for the home. The studio finds inspiration in the complete resolution and restrained beauty of the Japanese culture, particularly the simplicity and efficiency of the origami fold.

STAY is available in three standard heights. It can be flat packed or assembled. The STAY stool’s universal aluminium bracket connects the timber assembly allowing for various heights while maintaining a unified relationship between each version. This universal bracket also provides super stability and strength and is light in weight. Introducing various colours to the brackets adds an intimate, playful quality to a balanced durable form.
