SPRINT chair

Sprint is one of my favourite designs, partly perhaps because of the challenge it presented. It is quite minimal but has a personality. it looked to me a bit like it was ready to jump up and take off so I called it Sprint, like the Vespa scooter classic 'Sprint Veloce'. Sprint also feels to me like something that came out of a 1950s metalworker’s shop - a matter-of-fact design that has nothing extraneous and is built for hard use. and it’s a stacking chair that doesn't look like a stacking chair."
