When Matrix Education recently sought to create a dynamic learning space in Parramatta, they engaged Zenith to provide a comprehensive furniture solution for the site.

Employing their new branding colour palette of rich plums, pinks and reds, SBJ designed a high end fitout that was beautiful, without sacrificing performance. Matrix chose a number of Zenith solutions based on their aesthetics, durability and sustainability. As an adaptable, multipurpose chair, Matrix chose the inimitable Jac.

The perfect union of style, functionality, and sustainability, Jac chair effortlessly fulfills the seating needs for a multitude of spaces. Thoughtfully designed and robustly manufactured, Jac is an ideal choice for the education sector. Matrix Education opted for sled based Jac in addition to the Jac 4-star base on castors for easy mobility. A highly sustainable option (made with 95% recycled post-consumer polypropylene shells) Jac is also part of Zenith’s One Tree Planted initiative wherein a tree is planted for every Jac sold.

For study or socialising, Precinct Meet Booth provides 'a room within a room'. With high screen encasings, the Meet Booth caters to the full spectrum of study modalities, providing an enclave for focused study or private teamwork. Complimenting the warm hues of the interior design, Zenith also provided a selection of Precinct ottomans in various sizes and shapes. Light and mobile, the Precinct ottomans are an ideal option for quick catchups or a comfortable perch for reading or relaxing.

The stunning Alter chair, designed for Zenith by Scott Fitsimmons, is a focal point of Matrix Parramatta’s lounge and connection areas. In a selection of pinks and purples, Alter imbues a sense of  calm through its elegantly sculpted wood frame and soft upholstery. Alter offers a seating solution that fosters interaction and an area where collaboration can thrive.

As a multifunctional table, the CTZ table by Axona Aichi sets new standards in the design of flip-top tables for meetings, conferencing and tutoring. Winner of the Good Design Award in Japan, CTZ has a variety of features such as smart hooks and height adjustable castors, making it a holistic table solution for Matrix’ requirements.
