Case Study: Global Company Fit‑Out – Changi Business Park

A global company recently undertook a major relocation to a newly leased, multi‑floor office in Changi Business Park. With a clear ambition to modernise its corporate environment, the company aimed to build a workspace that balanced high functionality with elegance, cultivating both productivity and well-being while remaining cost-efficient.

Zenith was selected as a new supply partner to equip five entire floors of the office with a thoughtfully curated mix of workstations, seating, and open pods. The brief was challenging: tight timelines, a budget to stick to, and the need to deliver solutions that met the exacting standards of a corporate client accustomed to long-term vendor relationships. Nevertheless, Zenith embraced the opportunity to both showcase its manufacturing quality and build a trusted partnership from the ground up.

Collaboration with the company’s design team, as well as architects and stakeholders, was central to the project’s success. Zenith conducted multiple mock-up reviews and user feedback sessions, followed by a final factory‑based mock-up at our Shanghai facility. This rigorous process enabled the client to visualise and refine details, ensuring the selected solutions aligned perfectly with their operational workflows and aesthetic goals.

Key products chosen for the fit-out included the Quantum workstation, Rumba Managers Desk, Vox task chairs, and Precinct open pods. While there were no entirely new products developed for this project, Zenith extended its existing product range to meet specific requirements—adapting finishes, configurations, and layouts to integrate seamlessly into the wider office design.

The completed workspace has delivered a transformative impact. Thoughtful zoning of work areas, adaptable seating, and dedicated pods support both focused individual work and dynamic team interaction. The modular design enables easy reconfiguration, meaning the space can evolve alongside the business’s growing and shifting needs.

Feedback from the company’s staff has been overwhelmingly positive. Employees have praised the ergonomic workstations, the flexibility of breakout and collaboration zones, and the way the design reflects their organisation’s values. Beyond aesthetics, the space supports productivity, wellness, and connectivity—strengthening the corporate culture in a tangible, everyday way.

The successful transformation of the company’s workspace stands as a compelling example of how thoughtful design—even with a budget to stick to and tight timelines—can significantly elevate a corporate environment.
