Case Study: A Collaborative, Future-Ready Fit-Out for a Global Financial Services Workplace
Case Study: A Collaborative, Future-Ready Fit-Out for a Global Financial Services Workplace

When a leading global financial services organisation relocated to a larger, more contemporary workspace, the move marked an opportunity to create an environment that better reflected its growth, innovation, and collaborative culture. The new workplace needed to support an agile way of working—balancing areas for teamwork with spaces for deep focus and confidential tasks.

Zenith Interiors worked alongside the client and design partner Zal Interiors to deliver a complete furniture solution tailored to the diverse needs of the organisation. Together, we shaped a workspace that supports everything from focused individual work to informal catch-ups and formal meetings, while ensuring the floorplate was used efficiently and purposefully.

One of the primary challenges was meeting quality expectations within a defined budget. Rather than designing custom pieces, Zenith selected a suite of standard modular products that delivered durability, flexibility, and design cohesion—without compromising cost-effectiveness.

Key solutions included modular workstations configured to optimize space, Kissen meeting and conference tables, and Orbis workstations that support collaborative workflows. To balance the open-office feel, we also integrated Vox chairs and private phonebooths—designed to give employees dedicated areas for concentration and confidential calls. JAC Stools were introduced to provide flexible seating options throughout meeting areas.

The project was shaped by a collaborative, detail-oriented process. Regular workshops, mock-up reviews, and showroom visits were held to confirm functional requirements, material selections, and layout suitability. On-site verifications ensured every product choice aligned with the practical needs of employees. To support a seamless relocation, installation timelines were carefully coordinated with the client’s move-in schedule.

The resulting workspace is flexible, efficient, and future-focused. The modular workstation systems maximise floor space while keeping work areas structured and organised. Integrated phonebooths provide employees with private settings for focused work and calls, supporting productivity without disrupting the open-office rhythm.

Feedback from the team has been highly positive, with employees noting improved workflow, increased comfort, and greater flexibility in how the space supports various tasks. The modularity of the furniture also ensures the workplace can effortlessly adapt as the organisation evolves.

This project showcases Zenith’s ability to combine design, practicality, and adaptability—delivering a workspace that meets today’s needs while remaining ready for tomorrow’s demands.
