100K Trees Planted!-Australia
100K Trees Planted!-Australia

In alignment with our mission to lead through best sustainable practices and meaningful initiatives, we’re proud to share a monumental achievement in our ongoing partnership with One Tree Planted. Zenith has now planted over 100,000 trees across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, restoring habitats and supporting biodiversity in critical regions.

This milestone has been reached through our long-standing ‘Jac Initiative’ where a tree is planted for every Jac purchased. It’s a simple yet powerful idea, with a profoundly positive impact. We extend our deepest thanks to our clients and the design community whose ongoing support has made this milestone possible, one tree at a time.

As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities in which we operate, our tree planting efforts in Australia have been directed toward  three ecological restoration sites in South-West Western Australia. Below is an overview of  the Australian projects and how they are making a positive impact on the local habitat.

Seed Gathering in WA

BOOROKUP: Boorokup is a property on the Gordon river WA, an ancient drainage site that is now a series of saline lakes. The property is 358 hectares with 250 hectares being cleared land. In 2024, 92 Native species were planted across 86 hectares, restoring critical Gordon river ecosystems. The project also empowers Indigenous communities, creating employment and long-term income opportunities

TAMBELLUP NOONGAR FARM: Tambellup Noongar Farm is a property owned by the Aboriginal community in the town of Tambellup. Similar to Boorokup, this site is situated directly alongside the Gordon River, approximately 25 kilometres apart.

In partnership with the Tambellup Noongar community and the Binalup Ranger Aboriginal Group, the project seeks to restore 130 hectares of degraded, previously cleared land through both cultural and ecological rehabilitation. As an Aboriginal-owned site, the initiative will foster continuous learning and cultural exploration within the community, while also promoting empowerment through sustained employment opportunities.

KARDUTJAANUP: This planting initiative marks the first step in the ecological restoration of a degraded former wheat and sheep farm, now under the stewardship of the Esperance-Tjaltraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation, who have named the property ‘Kardutjaanup’. Native seeds sourced from the immediate surrounding area are being collected, processed, propagated, and planted, with the goal of returning the landscape to its original bushland state. Wherever possible, restoration activities will be undertaken by members of the local Wudjari community, with capacity-building and skills development forming an integral part of the program.

Planting Team

In total, since the Jac Initiative commenced, 88503 trees have been planted in Australia.

Zenith is incredibly proud to have reached the milestone of 100,000 trees planted. Our efforts would not have been possible without the continued trust and support of our clients and the design community, whose shared commitment to positive impact makes this journey possible.
