100K Trees Planted!-Asia

At Zenith, we are driven by the belief that meaningful action creates lasting change. Today, we’re proud to announce over 100,000 trees planted across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia through our Jac Initiative in partnership with One Tree Planted. For every Jac chair purchased, a tree is planted. This achievement is only possible thanks to the ongoing support of our clients and the design community, whose choice of Jac continues to transform landscapes across the region.

Our efforts in Asia are centred on two regions of The Philippines, restoring critical ecosystems while empowering local communities.

SORSOGON BIODIVERSITY & WATERSHED RESTORATION-In Sorsogon Province, native trees are rehabilitating degraded lands within Bulusan Volcano Natural Park and Magallanes Juban Forest Watershed Reserve. The initiative is repairing fragmented forests and protecting species like the Philippine hawk-eagle. Assisted Natural Regeneration (ANR) across 500 hectares supports natural growth alongside planting, while creating livelihoods for over 3,000 farmers, households involved in wildling gathering, and youth-led conservation activities.

INDIGENOUS REFORESTATION IN EAGLE HABITAT-In Aurora Province’s Sierra Madre corridor, the Dumagat and Alta Indigenous communities are reforesting 400 hectares of ancestral lands, enhancing habitats for endangered wildlife including the Philippine eagle owl and Rufous hornbill.

Women have played a key role in planting and nursery operations, with cultural knowledge guiding species selection. Beyond environmental restoration, these projects strengthen food security, cultural identity, and economic resilience, preserving ecological heritage for future generations.

To date, Zenith has planted 5202 in the Philippines. We remain deeply grateful to our partners, clients, and design community across Asia for making this impact possible.
