A collection of chairs and stools with various base and seat options, suitable for any environment. MIUNN seat shell is made from 3D moulded plywood and can be fully upholstered. The bases are available in powder coated or matt chrome sled or 4-leg base, powder coated or aluminium swivel 4-star (flat) or height adjustable 5-star castor (flat) base. MIUNN in also available with timber legs with matching timber shell. MIUNN stool shell is available in 3D moulded plywood, Baydur polyurethane or fully upholstered. The stool with height adjustable swivel seats are available with sand-blasted stainless steel Aisi 304 column and stainless steel linen-pattern (SS linen-pattern) on square or round base. MIUNN stool is also available with matt chrome or powder coated sled base in two fixed heights, with glides in Lexan and felt. MIUNN chairs and stools are also available in sand-blasted stainles steel bases with Baydur shells, suitable for indoor and outdoor (protected) environments.
Karri Monni, born 1969 in Varkaus, Finland. Furniture carpenter studies 1985-1987. Studies in Lahti Institute of Design, in Department of Interior Architecture and Furniture Design 1994-1998, BA. Interior Architect and Designer, SIO. Practiced in Studio Simo Heikkilä 1997, Industrial Design Ltd, Sistem 1998-1999, Keiski Architects 2000, Pekka Salminen Architects 2000. Started own Studio Karri Monni 1999. Started own company Koon Design Oy 2006. Furniture designs for Lapalma from 2001. As a member of Interior Architects Monni & Koskivaara, furniture design /interior design work for Amer Sports, Nordea Bank Finland, Vacon, Sampo Group, Metso, Leiras Takeda Pharmaceutical, WinWinD, EFG, City of Helsinki, Roche, YLE, Valio, Walki, Aventis Pharma, McKinsey & Company. Karri Monni lives and works in Helsinki.
