PRODUCT STORY

Tea

Tea seating collection inspired by teatime by the old, delicate china tea-set.

Tea is the result of reclaiming an aesthetic pleasure perceived by sight and touch, and an intense search to arouse emotions in the user.

In order to do this, Sancal has turned to Jose Manuel Ferrero, who has designed a seating collection inspired by teatime by the old, delicate china tea-set.

The collection consists of lounge chair, armchair, sofa, chair and stools. The hexagonal-quilted and the bicolour options are key elements for this revised classic, contemporary and casual but always elegant and distinguished. It is undoubtedly one of the most special and innovative ranges on the market.

The dining chairs curved shape of the back supports an ergonomic posture and provides a pleasant and lasting seating experience. Thanks to the injected polyurethane foam this range is super comfy hiding a solid slim internal timber frame.

Quilted version can be upholstered in fabric and synthetic leather. Plain version can be upholstered in fabric, synthetic leather & leather.

Loose cushions cannot be quilted. Chairs and stools are finished in Oak or Beech timber. The stools are also available in two heights.

DESIGNER

EstudiHac

Estudihac is led by Jose Manuel Ferrero who, after an intense work experience with Oscar Tusquets, created his own industrial and interior design studio. They have a lot of experience in a big range of projects: restaurants, hotels, retail shops…

Even a car! In fact they designed the interior of the European Toyta iQ. Beyond the automotive, in the habitat sector, the studio’s career is booming – with projects for Vondom, Punt, Porcelanosa and Gandia Blasco.

After the hit of the vast Tea family for Sancal, comes Magmun, a project with great expectations too.
