Supply Nation Connect Expo 2019
Supply Nation Connect Expo 2019

Zenith FG participated at the 10th annual Supply Nation Connect Expo at Sydney's ICC. One of our leaders Scott Young was a speaker at the Knowledge Forum on "Ideas that Rock". Scott is a director of Young Guns Container Crew, First Grade Group, All Things Containers, and Indigenous Business Australia.

Zenith FG launched its first Indigenous timber collection; Archie Table by Brad Nicholls, made from Cooktown Silver Ash Indigenous timber sourced from sawmills owned and operated by Indigenous Australians. These sawmills provide local indigenous peoples with employment and skills development. Furthermore the timbers are harvested with cultural sensitivity and by environmentally friendly practices. Milled locally, by locals.

The Wes lounge chair by Tom Fereday was also featured at the stand, upholstered in Wak Wak (Storm) by Susan Marawarr, an artist and a Kuninjku speaker. Fabrics supplied by Willie Weston.

One of our lucky attendee’s won an original painting, Yarra River Gathering by Koori Artist John Winch from the Bunurong Country.

This painting represents the gathering of the five tribes of the Kulin Nations the Dja Dja Wurung, Taungurong, Wathaurong, Wolworung and Bunurong. The square pattern represents the River and the Brown is the people, white is for spirit, yellow is culture and red is for fire, fire was the main tool used to keep our rivers and land scape healthy. The circles of dots represent each tribes camp and the U shapes represent the people. The Kulin Nation people have a long history of gathering around the Yarra river close to Melbourne for ceremonial, marriage and trading.

The Gala Dinner Awards were at the ICC Sydney Grand Ballroom. It was filled with 1100 people who support diversity and the finalists who've excelled in the last 12 months. Congratulations to all the winners announced on the night.

We would like to thank all the Supply Nation staff for putting on an important yearly event that brings the community together.

With the strength of 180 exhibitors, we stand together with a vibrant and creative Indigenous economy.
